"This semester you will work as a collective to showcase your work. This is a typical exercise across creative subjects and it helps to launch you into creative industries. Create a campaign to promote the event, consider PR. And, of course, create a digital space that will help with promotion. You will need to designate roles and tasks so the process runs smoothly. Will you need a venue? Who will be your target audience? Will you need to fund-raise?
Grades will be determined by your efforts as part of a collaborative - so you must document the process from your personal perspective. Critically reflect on your role and the success of the event."
The class is uniting as a team to curate a showcase featuring some of our advertising projects. This exhibition could manifest as an event, a book, a documentary, an exhibition, or any other format that effectively showcases our collective work.

Final Idea: 3D DIGITAL GALLERY (website featuring videos and images)
The concept revolves around transforming a real 3D street into a virtual canvas, allowing people to explore it as if they were walking through a gallery. Our projects are set up around the street like ads, creating an immersive experience for viewers.

Style Guide & Web Map
Brainstorm:
- For the logo I think we could use some image or icon from a known San Jose mural
- For the background we could use the mural located at the DBH room to tie it in
- As for the colors we could also use either the ones from SJSU/DBH or the colors from street art
- With Andrew, we worked on crafting the logo. We decided to use a street name sign to portray the name of our brand and tie it in to the whole 'street art' theme. We used the DBH colors and highlighted the AD in ADVENUE to make sure the audience knows it's not just a typo lol
I put some images together of different murals located around San Jose, mainly Downtown. I also included some ideas for fonts and colors. The colors you see are based on the street art i found. This was just to get a general idea of what colors and aesthetics are associated with San Jose street art.
